3.5 LS Stand Bag
The 3.5LS is designed for the golfer who loves our popular 2.5+ but wants a few more features. Like the 2.5+, the 3.5LS is constructed with lightweight nylon fabric, high-strength-to-weight plastic, and carbon fiber legs. Adding a pound allows Sun Mountain to provide several more pockets, including a range finder pocket.

- The E-Z Lite Dual Strap System is easy to get on and off and works well as a single strap for short carries
- The carry straps are made with thick, high-density foam that is contoured to be wider at the top of the shoulder for carry comfort
- Grab handles are sewn into the strap as a carry-assist
- The new cart strap pass-through slot allows the bag to be strapped to the cart without hindering pocket access for those days you would rather ride

Sun Mountain makes great golf bags

This is my third SM stand bag. It's light, has 14 individual club slots and an added feature of a restraint for the leg stands when you place your bag on a push cart or golf cart. Excellent bag.

Super light with just enough storage (remember....it's a super light bag....) - I'm based in New England where the weather is fickle as hell. I store a hoody and a light rain jacket in the clothing sleeve. The ball and tee pockets are bigger than they need to be, and the valuables pocket could be a hair bigger. The beverage pocket is big enough for an insulated water bottle (the pocket itself is not insulated), and the accessories pocket is on the small side. Full size towel, loops for a brush and range finder are solid.Overall, for a really light carry bag, this ticks the boxes. If you tend to use a cart, the 3.5 has more storage though it's heavier.

A great carry bag, but...

I walk 95% of the time, pushing my 3-wheeler. For the past few years I've used a typical cart bag, which provides sturdiness and plenty of room for extra clothes and other essentials.Problem is, this gets heavy. My home course is hilly and pushing that RV-sized bag up the hill on 18 on a hot day gets the buzzards circling. I needed something lighter, and I wanted a stand bag for trips to the range.This bag almost fits the bill. It's definitely light enough. It stands well and is sturdy. The 14 club separations work well, even my mid-sized grips don't stick.What it lacks (for me) is a little more storage space. In Minnesota, the weather can turn on a dime, and in this case, the space allowed for raingear and maybe a light sweatshirt just doesn't cut it. There's enough room for balls, tees and such, but not much to jam in a can of bug spray or sunscreen. There's a sleeve for a water bottle, but it's not insulated.Still, it's a great bag for what it is. The fault lies with me for not doing better research. I may just keep my tank of a cart bag for the cooler months and use this one when the weather turns hot. Who knows, I may even toss it on my back and carry from time to time.

I’m surprised how lightweight this bag is, the 14 sleeves handle my jumbo grips nicely and there enough pockets to handle my needs. It would have been perfect it the water bottle pocket was insulated, use it 3 times in 80+ degrees and the water was warm how ever not a deal breaker.

Lightweight and functional

Arrived quickly and just as I researched. Lightweight, easy to carry good club distribution. Rain cover. Only minus, no insulated water bottle sleave, there is a waterbottle compartment, not insulated, used it in 85 degree heat, water was warm in an hour. Too small to fit an insulated bottle. But loved it enough bought another for my partner Nancy.

Great bang for your buck

Have used a Ping Hoofer for last 8 years but switched to this Sun Mountain bag. Size of top and the full length dividers makes this the perfect bag for anyone who is split between walking and riding.Wish the bag had a larger water bottle holder, but nowadays no bag is really able to hold anything bigger than 24 oz comfortably

I always ride a cart, but my cart bag is pretty big, and when I'm travelling I decided to keep a smaller bag to make it easier to check in the bag. The bag is pretty light, and has a good number of pockets. Past stand bags I've had received some damage - mostly the legs getting bent, but after one trip, the bag has stood up pretty well.

Really well made and crazy light. I've have Sun Mountain bags in the past but the quality and workmanship on this 2.5 is much better. Cannot believe how light it is and once I adjusted the straps it is a really easy on and off while playing. Was a little nervous about the gunmetal and inferno color but for anyone else out there it's charcoal grey with just the right amount of dark orange contrast. It was a great choice at a great price.As a Rock Bottom first timer I found the entire shopping and delivery experience first class!

Carry bag that ticks the boxes...

This Sun Mountain 2.5+ stand bag is a winner for me. I wanted a bag to carry on par 3 courses and that would stay put at the range and this featherweight is perfect. It has ample storage for necessities and is comfortable to carry and should even work on your pull cart! I wouldn't recommend this bag as a riding cart bag - like I stated it is a lightweight. But for something to carry less than a full set of clubs, this bag looks smart (I have the navy, white & red) and should last a long time.
